The remaining homes include 257 units at the Kalamboli Bus Depot and 293 units at the Kharghar Bus Depot. A portion of the homes has also been reserved for eligible applicants with disabilities.

The scheme is aimed at helping families from the EWS category own affordable homes in well-connected areas of Navi Mumbai.

CIDCO Housing Scheme 2026: Who Can Apply?

Families with an annual income of up to Rs 6 lakh will be eligible to apply under the EWS housing scheme. Applicants must also meet CIDCO's requirement that they do not own a pucca house anywhere in India.

Applicants will need to meet all prescribed eligibility conditions and submit the required documents during the registration and verification process. CIDCO will publish complete details about eligibility, documentation, home prices and applicable charges on its official housing portal.

Online Registration To Begin On August 15

Online registration for the scheme will start at 11 a.m. on August 15, 2026. Interested applicants can complete the registration process through CIDCO's official housing portal.

The portal has already listed the August 2026 housing scheme with a total inventory of 4,779 homes. Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility rules and other conditions before submitting their applications.

Homes Offer Access To Major Navi Mumbai Locations

The three locations included in the scheme have access to road, rail and metro networks. Their location also provides connectivity to important residential, commercial and transport hubs across Navi Mumbai.

The homes are also located close to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, which is expected to further improve connectivity and support development in surrounding areas.

CIDCO To Verify Applicants Before Allotment

Home allotment will take place only after CIDCO completes the required eligibility checks and document verification. Applicants will need to satisfy all conditions set under the scheme before they can receive an allotment.

CIDCO said its focus is to provide affordable housing along with good connectivity and access to essential urban infrastructure. The latest scheme is expected to give more EWS families an opportunity to own a home in established and developing parts of Navi Mumbai.

Prospective applicants should use CIDCO's official housing portal for registration, pricing information, eligibility rules, document requirements and other updates related to the scheme.

With 4,779 homes available across Taloja, Kalamboli and Kharghar, the August 2026 scheme is expected to provide a major opportunity for eligible EWS families looking for affordable housing in Navi Mumbai.
