First Time Students Received Two Attempts for MHT-CET
This year introduced a major change in Maharashtra’s entrance examination system.
For the first time, students appearing for MHT-CET PCM, PCB and MBA/MMS examinations were allowed two attempts. The initiative was introduced under the guidance of Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil.
The move aimed to provide Maharashtra students with opportunities similar to national-level entrance examinations such as JEE (Main).
For candidates who appeared in both attempts, the better percentile score will be considered during admissions.
CAP Admission Process to Begin Soon
With the PCB second-attempt results now declared, students can check their scores through their login portals.
The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for Pharmacy and Agriculture courses is expected to begin shortly.
