Applications Open for Affordable Homes and Residential Plots in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Latur

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has opened applications for a new housing lottery offering 99 homes and 105 residential plots in the Marathwada region. Interested applicants can register and submit their applications until September 28, 2026.

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Board is offering these properties through separate lottery processes under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme and MHADA Housing Scheme. The initiative gives eligible residents an opportunity to purchase homes or residential land at designated locations.

MHADA Lottery Offers 99 Homes in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Of the 99 homes included in the lottery, 97 units are being offered under the 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme, while two units are available under the MHADA Housing Scheme.

The 97 homes are located in Satara, Itkheda, Shahanurwadi and Nakshatrawadi, all within the limits of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation. These homes are intended for applicants from the economically weaker section (EWS) and low-income group (LIG) categories.

The remaining two homes are located at N-7, CIDCO, and Mukundwadi in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The N-7 property is designated for the high-income group (HIG), while the Mukundwadi property is available for the economically weaker section.

105 Residential Plots Available Through Lottery

In addition to the homes, MHADA is offering 105 residential plots through a separate lottery.

Of these, 73 plots are located in Murtizapur in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, while another 32 plots are located in Nilanga in Latur district.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to purchase these residential plots and use the land for construction of their homes, subject to applicable rules and approvals.

MHADA Applications Open Until September 28

Registration, application sales and application acceptance for both the housing units and residential plots have already started. Applicants can complete the process until September 28, 2026.

MHADA has advised applicants to carefully check the eligibility requirements, property details, category information and other conditions before submitting their applications.

The housing lottery process is being carried out under the guidance of MHADA leadership, including IAS Sanjeev Jaiswal, Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of MHADA, as the authority continues to focus on expanding housing opportunities through transparent and organized allotment processes.

MHADA Lottery 2026 Important Dates

After the application period closes, MHADA will publish a provisional list of eligible applicants on October 5, 2026, at 3 p.m. on its official housing portal.

Applicants who have concerns about the provisional list will be able to submit their claims and objections until 5 p.m. on October 7, 2026.

The final list of eligible applicants is scheduled to be released on October 12, 2026, at noon.

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Board has not yet announced the date of the actual computerized lottery draw. MHADA said the lottery date will be announced separately.
