MHADA Nashik Board Holds Lottery for 333 Affordable Homes

Lottery Conducted for Homes Across Nashik and Ahmednagar

The Nashik Housing and Area Development Board, a unit of MHADA, conducted a computerized lottery for the sale of 333 residential tenements across several housing projects in Nashik and Ahmednagar. The process was held at the Nashik Board office at Ram Ganesh Gadkari Chowk.

The homes are located in areas including Pathardi Shiwar, Mhasrul Shiwar, Makhmalabad Shiwar, Chunchale Shiwar, Adgaon Shiwar and Satpur Shiwar, along with locations in Ahmednagar. The lottery offers another opportunity for eligible applicants looking for affordable housing through MHADA's housing schemes.

493 Applications Received for 333 Homes

A total of 493 applications were received for the lottery. Of these, 341 applicants submitted the required earnest money deposit, making them eligible for consideration under the lottery process.

The computerized draw was conducted by Ranjan Thakare, Chairman of the Nashik Housing and Area Development Board. Senior officials and representatives associated with the Nashik Board were present during the event.

The program was attended by Shivkumar Avalkante, Chief Officer; Pravin Bagul, Deputy Chief Officer; Nitin Kulthe, Estate Manager; Prakash Mahajan, Member of the High-Level Monitoring Committee; Ravindra Bharde, Deputy Collector and Special Land Acquisition Officer; and Vikram Nain, District Informatics Officer, among others.

MHADA Continues Focus on Affordable Housing

Speaking during the event, Ranjan Thakare said the Nashik Board has been making a significant number of affordable homes available to citizens through housing lotteries over the past one and a half years.

The latest draw is expected to bring homeownership opportunities to 333 successful applicants. The initiative reflects MHADA's continued efforts to provide homes through transparent and computerized allocation processes.

Under the leadership of Sanjeev Jaiswal, Vice President and CEO of MHADA, the authority continues to focus on expanding access to affordable housing and improving housing opportunities for citizens across Maharashtra.

More Computerized Housing Lotteries Planned

Applicants who were not selected in this lottery were encouraged to remain hopeful and participate in future MHADA housing schemes. The Nashik Board indicated that similar computerized lotteries will continue to be organized for the sale of available tenements.

The computerized system also helps make the allocation process more transparent and accessible for applicants.

Successful Applicants Felicitated at the Event

Successful applicants who attended the program were felicitated by Ranjan Thakare. The event marked an important step for the 333 selected applicants who are now moving closer to owning their homes through the MHADA housing scheme.

To make the process accessible to applicants who could not attend the venue, MHADA also arranged a live webcast of the lottery. The program was streamed through MHADA's official @mhadaofficial YouTube and Facebook channels, allowing applicants and their families to follow the draw from home.
