Nashik | August 18, 2026: The Nashik Housing and Area Development Board, a regional board of MHADA, successfully conducted a computerized lottery for 412 affordable flats under its 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme. The online draw was held in a transparent and fully digital format, giving homebuyers across Nashik and nearby areas an equal opportunity to own a home.
The lottery was organized at the Housing Authority Office in Nashik and was chaired by Ranjan Thackeray, Chairman of the Nashik Housing and Area Development Board, who joined the event through video conferencing.
412 Homes Offered Across Nashik and Nearby Areas
The housing lottery covered residential projects located in several growing neighborhoods of Nashik and its surrounding regions. Flats were offered in Pathardi Shivar, Mhasrul Shivar, Makhamalabad Shivar, Adgaon Shivar, Satpur Shivar, Vihitgaon Shivar, Hirawadi, Tapovan Link Road, Agar Takli Shivar, Gangapur Shivar, Sinnar Phata, Devlali Shivar, Chehdi, Meri-Rasbihari Link Road, and Wadala Shivar.
The wide distribution of projects provides affordable housing options in both established and developing residential locations across the city.
MHADA Mumbai Lottery Sets a Strong Example for Transparent Housing
The Nashik lottery comes shortly after MHADA completed a computerized draw for 2,640 homes in Mumbai, marking another important step in the authority's affordable housing efforts. The Mumbai draw was conducted on August 6, 2026, and received a strong response from home seekers, with 75,127 applications submitted for the 2,640 homes. Under the leadership of IAS Sanjeev Jaiswal, Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of MHADA, the authority has continued to focus on technology-driven, transparent, and applicant-friendly housing processes. Jaiswal has also highlighted MHADA's broader efforts to expand affordable housing and make more homes available to citizens through regional housing boards.
Fully Online Process Strengthens Transparency
Speaking after the draw, Chairman Ranjan Thackeray said that MHADA's IHLMS 2.0 platform has made the lottery process simple, secure, and highly transparent.
According to him, the computerized system eliminates the possibility of human intervention, ensuring that every applicant receives a fair chance through an automated digital selection process. He also encouraged unsuccessful applicants to stay hopeful and participate in future housing lotteries, as MHADA plans to continue expanding affordable housing opportunities across Maharashtra.
Lottery Results Published on Official Website
Board Chief Officer Shivkumar Avalkanthe announced that the lottery results have been uploaded to MHADA's official housing portal. Applicants can now check their application status and lottery outcome online.
The successful applicants who attended the event were also felicitated during the ceremony.

Several senior officials and members of the monitoring committee were present during the lottery, including Chief Officer Shivkumar Avalkanthe, Deputy Chief Officer Praveen Bagul, Executive Engineers Kavita Nikam and Vaishali Pawar, Property Manager Nitin Kulthe, High-Level Monitoring Committee member Prakash Mahajan, Deputy District Collector Ravindra Bharde, and District Informatics Officer Vikram Nain. The event was moderated by Rajesh Hingmire.
