EODR 2.0 Set To Guide Housing Societies On Redevelopment

Housing societies across Navi Mumbai and the wider Navi Mumbai-Raigad region will get an opportunity to learn more about redevelopment at the second edition of the Ease of Doing Redevelopment, or EODR 2.0, initiative.

CREDAI MCHI Youth NMR will host the one-day event on September 27 at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Navi Mumbai. The program is expected to bring together more than 40 developers and representatives from around 1,500 housing societies.

The event is designed to give society members a better understanding of the redevelopment process, available options and key considerations before making decisions about their properties.

CIDCO Exhibition Centre To Host EODR 2.0

EODR 2.0 will take place at Hall A of the CIDCO Exhibition Centre from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Housing society representatives from different parts of Navi Mumbai and the broader NMR region are expected to attend.

The exhibition will provide a common platform where residents can meet developers, real estate professionals and other experts. The format is intended to make it easier for society members to ask questions and understand the different stages involved in redevelopment.

Developers And Experts To Interact With Society Members

The event will include panel discussions and expert consultation sessions focused on various aspects of housing redevelopment. Society representatives and property owners will be able to discuss their concerns and seek information directly from professionals.

Direct discussions with developers will also allow housing societies to understand different redevelopment approaches, requirements and project considerations.

Amit Haware, advisor at CREDAI MCHI Youth NMR, said the objective of the initiative is to provide residents with access to information and awareness rather than push societies toward redevelopment.

According to the organizers, societies can reach the redevelopment stage at different times depending on their individual circumstances. EODR is intended to help property owners understand the process and explore their choices before taking a decision.

Second EODR Edition Expected To Attract More Societies

The upcoming event follows the first edition, which saw participation from approximately 800 to 1,000 housing societies. Organizers expect EODR 2.0 to attract a larger number of participants this year.

Sumit Ahluwalia, president of CREDAI MCHI Youth NMR, said the initiative is part of the association's continuing effort to increase awareness about redevelopment across Navi Mumbai and Raigad.

He said redevelopment can be an important decision for property owners and communities, making access to reliable information and professional guidance important for societies considering their next steps.
