CIDCO Lottery Results: 3,142 Selected for EWS Homes

Computerized Draw Held for CIDCO’s Affordable Housing Scheme

Navi Mumbai has taken another step toward expanding affordable housing, with CIDCO conducting a computerized lottery for 4,779 homes reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). The draw resulted in 3,142 successful applicants under the “My Preferred CIDCO Home, My 1st Choice” housing scheme.

The lottery was conducted at CIDCO Bhavan in CBD Belapur. According to CIDCO officials, the process was carried out through a computerized system without human intervention. The results have been uploaded to the official CIDCO website, allowing applicants to check their status online.

4,779 EWS Homes Offered in Key Navi Mumbai Locations

The housing scheme was launched on August 15 and included homes across several important locations in Navi Mumbai.

The largest share, 4,229 homes, is located in Taloja Sector 39. The scheme also includes 257 homes at the Kalamboli Bus Depot and 293 homes at the Kharghar Bus Depot.

A designated number of homes were also reserved for eligible applicants with disabilities, supporting CIDCO’s goal of making affordable housing more inclusive.

Transparent Computerized Lottery Process

CIDCO said the lottery was conducted in a transparent manner to ensure a fair selection process for eligible applicants. The use of a computerized draw was intended to reduce human involvement and provide an efficient method for selecting beneficiaries.

Applicants can view the list of successful candidates through CIDCO’s official online platform and proceed with the required formalities for their allotted homes.

Senior CIDCO Officials Attend the Draw

Several senior officials attended the computerized lottery at CIDCO Bhavan. Those present included CIDCO Joint Managing Directors Shantanu Goel and Ganesh Deshmukh, Chief Vigilance Officer Suresh Mengade, and National Informatics Centre officials Laxmikant Garje and Narendra Bhamre.

Marketing Manager (Housing) Srinivas Mokalikar and other senior CIDCO officials were also present during the draw.

CIDCO Vice Chairman and Managing Director Ashwin Mudgal said the strong response to the housing scheme shows the growing demand for affordable homes in Navi Mumbai.

He said providing affordable housing opportunities to EWS families in a well-planned city remains an important priority for CIDCO. The computerized lottery is expected to help eligible applicants move closer to owning a home while supporting a transparent and inclusive housing process.

With 3,142 applicants selected in the latest draw, the scheme offers a major opportunity for eligible families seeking affordable housing in Taloja, Kalamboli and Kharghar. Successful applicants can now complete the necessary procedures to take their housing allotments forward.
